# Factions System

### What are factions?

Think of factions like renamed classes. Factions provide an array of stat boosts that are suited towards a specific playstyle, melee ranged and magic. Unlike traditional RPG, getting in factions is not required.

### How do players get in factions?

Getting in faction requires a faction token. Players can get one by completing Take a Side quest. You can make more available :)

### How can I change/edit/add factions?

First, read this wiki page very carefully. You can change go in mmocore config folder to alter anything you like.
